Insight and momentum for the Neglected Middle

As a leadership and professional development coach, I get a charge out of serving professionals in the “neglected middle”- people who form the backbone and future of an organization, but who are often neglected when it comes to formal development. Their motivation to stretch toward their potential and make an outsized positive impact that matters to them and to others amplifies my own energy, as we drive together towards their goals.

As a coach I draw on 30 years of HR experience in global high-tech Silicon Valley firms, where I partnered with people at all levels and functions, from internal incubators to suddenly reabsorbed spin-offs, to high-stakes pioneering teams to established functions. I apply research-based methods that fit the person’s current needs as a human being and as a business person, helping them uncover the ecosystem they work and live in and the part they play in it, identifying and understanding the complexities, and determining the most powerful path forward for sustainable results. 

The people who gain the most from my coaching are self-motived high-performers actively moving, or ready to move, into new, broader or fundamentally different work. These people are willing and able to invest their time and energy in action, reflection, and lifelong learning.

My clients have said that coaching has provided the space, structure, and support to think differently, gain new insights and momentum and to create and follow results-focused action plans they would otherwise not have considered.

In addition to coaching, I love to learn new things, hike, travel, enjoy great food and wine, and to hang out with my husband Scott and cats Albany and Heath.
