Martha Wescoat-Andes is the Senior Associate Provost for Planning & New Ventures at William & Mary.  In this role she works with executive leadership, the internal community, and executive partners to advance strategic initiatives.  Martha's career has focused on assisting leaders in public higher education and local government envision and achieve major organizational goals through strategy, new markets, external partnerships, change management, organizational development, internal capacity building, and project management.  

In her work with organizations and leaders Martha integrates her expertise in leadership and health and wellness coaching to enhance opportunities for both individual and organizational transformation and wellbeing.  Martha is an International Coaches Federation (ICF) certified executive coach and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness coach (NBC-HWC). Certified as an Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner through the Cooperrider Center and a Strengths-based Specialist through Gallup, Martha works with leaders to engage stakeholders, build on collectively identified strengths, and define and pursue shared aspirations for a positive future. A key area of interest for Martha is working with university partners to define, build and integrate a culture and framework for wellbeing across the institution. 

Martha earned her BA in Government from Smith College and her MBA from Columbia University.
