Victor has 35 years’ experience in the Coaching, Human Resources, and Leadership Development fields. Vic’s experience includes 19 years as an HR practice leader for Ernst & Young, McBer and Development Dimensions International. He has implemented HR “best practices” and designed/delivered leadership development programs at 21 Fortune 500 companies. He has coached, developed and mentored more than 450 leaders at the director level and above including 28 VP’s and six SVPs of a $35 billion company, eight CEO’s of a variety of companies (see below for details) and has more than 1,100 hours of executive coaching and development experience. He is an ICF credentialed coach. In the 14 years prior to starting his own executive coaching, and leadership assessment/development firm, Vic‘s direct corporate experience included HNTB Inc., Western Division VP Human Resources (Wipro) Resources,  ZLand.com (Chief Human Resources Officer).

REPRESENTATIVE BOARD LEVEL COACHING ASSIGNMENTS

Client: National Association of Corporate Directors (Board organization with 18,000 members)
Need:  Develop a Board effectiveness assessment/create live training session
Result: Rated as one of the best sessions NACD has promoted. Co-developer of the Board Governance Assessment. Created a role play of a mock Board meeting to highlight how meetings can go wrong. Both received equally high ratings from the group.

Client: Fast Start Studios, business incubator. Role: Advisory Board Member

Need: Early stage Founders of mostly tech businesses had difficulty handling conflict, optimizing Emotional Intelligence and being inclusive when solving problems and planning strategy

Result: On site office hours were often overbooked with requests. Ultimately took on a permanent Advisory Board Role with one of the companies (see below).

Client: Reality Smash, a virtual reality content developer

Need: Provide coaching and mentoring to CEO and COO. Mentored the COO to be their Chief HR Officer. Sat in on Board meetings and provided feedback around problem solving and decision making. Developed a mentoring program for COO and conducted monthly sessions.

Result: COO testimonial: Victor is one of our advisors at Reality Smash and my direct mentor. Through deep discussions, Victor has taught me how to be a more empathetic leader that drives results through collaboration and focused metrics. He listens to my struggles and roadblocks, then rolls up his sleeves to help me figure out the best strategy to solve the problem. Education and Certifications
Victor has a degree in Psychology and Organizational Behavior from UCLA and taught HR courses at UCLA and UC Irvine for six years.  He is a certified Executive/Master Coach, an International Coach Federation (ICF) Credentialed Coach, and a Certified Winslow Dynamics Consultant. He also completed (with “Distinction”) the Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence program through Case Western Reserve University. He is a certified instructor through Development Dimensions International which allows him to draw upon 350+ hours of leadership and employee development programs. He is an Executive Coach to MBA students at UCLA Andersen Graduate School of Management and executive students (and on the Advisory Board of Directors) at the University of California Riverside’s Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Executive Program. He is also on the Board of Directors of Reality Smash, a virtual reality content developer.
