The IOC Invites you to join our Book Club, which will meet once a month on the first Thursday of every month. We will spend two meetings per book, one for a review of the major themes and the other for specialized topic dives related to your coaching practice.
Each Friday, members of our Fellow community meet to collaborate and discuss various coaching topics and resources. Our weekly group connects coaches from across the globe and meets at 7:30am EST. Every other Friday the group will provide the opportunity for a fellow member to present. This could include presenting a topic, coaching model, professional work, client case, or asking the group a question for discussion etc. On the other weeks, the zoom session will be open for members to have an open conversation. Join Jan Rybeck on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12:00pm EST for a discussion on Vertical Leadership Development and Coaching.
Tricky case forum is a place for seasoned coaches to learn together from the cases that stump us. Each hour session will use the power of inquiry to unpack a case that one coach finds to be particularly tricky for them. "Tricky" means that it is a coaching case or situation that sticks with them in some way, there is something about it that either triggers the coach, rubs them the wrong way, or for some reason, keeps coming back to mind as a challenge and, of course, opportunity.
This group serves as a safe space for black women coaches across the globe and at all levels of experience to share challenges, wins, and strategies for growth as they relate to the unique intersectional journey of being a black woman in this profession.
